Transcription: In this flight, we wander along the Niagara Escarpment in Ontario, a unique and intriguing physical feature visible from space. The escarpment is a very steep eastward face of shifted bedrock with its exposed dolomite edges over 300 million years old. Today, the Niagara Escarpment adds a unique visual quality to Ontario's landscape as it crosses the province from the Niagara River to the Bruce Peninsula and Manitoulin Island. The escarpment holds important archaeological sites rich flora, fauna and outstanding potential for recreation.
